Couple’s Argument Over Infidelity Leads to Dangerous Car Crash

A couple’s argument over infidelity turned violent and led to a dangerous car crash on Luveve Road. The incident involved Isaac Zingura (47) and his wife Patience Dzumbunu, who reportedly got into a heated argument after Dzumbunu accused Zingura of cheating on her with a married woman.

The Argument

According to sources who spoke to B-Metro, Dzumbunu confronted Zingura about the affair, which resulted in him shouting at her. However, he later calmed down and promised to end the illicit relationship. Unfortunately, last week, Dzumbunu discovered that her husband was still involved with the other woman and confronted him again.

“When she discovered that he was still seeing the other woman, she threatened to expose the affair; she warned him to stop it but her hubby got angry and bashed her,” said a source familiar with the situation.

Zingura’s Anger Escalates

The couple’s problems didn’t end there. Later, the couple drove to Renkini Bus Terminus to seek counselling from Zingura’s uncle. While in the car, Zingura continued to insult his wife and let go of the steering wheel to physically assault her. This caused the car to swerve off the road, but Zingura did not attempt to regain control of the vehicle.

“In a fit of rage, he then went back into his car and his wife followed him before they drove along Luveve Road going to their home. Along the way, he started insulting his wife again, branding her a prostitute. He then let go of the steering wheel to bash his wife, and in the process, the car swerved off the road,” said the source.

The Dangerous Car Crash

The incident resulted in a dangerous car crash that could have been fatal. Luckily, both Zingura and Dzumbunu survived the crash, but Dzumbunu quickly fled the scene and headed to Entumbane Police Station to report the incident.

“When they were near D-Square, her hubby stopped the car, and Dzumbunu quickly bolted out heading to Entumbane Police Station where she reported the incident,” said the source.

Police Intervention

As a result of the incident, Zingura is reportedly on the run from the police. Dzumbunu declined to comment on the incident when reached for a statement.
