Glen View HIV-Positive Husband Wanted for Molesting Wife

A 42-year-old husband living with HIV from Glen View is currently at large, evading arrest after allegedly molesting his 39-year-old wife. The incident unfolded when the husband demanded sexual intimacy, which his wife refused.

Demand Turned Violent

According to reports, the husband became enraged when his wife declined his sexual advances. Ignoring her refusal, he forcibly engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse with her against her will.

“The wife and her husband were sleeping in their bedroom and the husband asked for sex, but was turned down since she was not feeling well. The husband forcibly had unprotected sexual intercourse with the wife once,” stated Assistant Inspector Faith Mapisa.

Police Launch Manhunt

Acting as the spokesperson for the Harare provincial police, Assistant Inspector Faith Mapisa has issued an urgent appeal for any information that may lead to the apprehension of the suspect. Authorities are working diligently to locate and bring him to justice.

Unveiling a Disturbing Truth

In a shocking discovery, it was revealed that the husband was undergoing antiretroviral (ARV) treatment for an undisclosed condition. The wife, unaware of her husband’s medical status, later learned about his treatment after the incident.

“The wife later found out that her husband was on ARV treatment,” stated Assistant Inspector Faith Mapisa.

Seeking Justice and Medical Attention

Following the traumatic experience, the victim promptly reported the rape to the authorities. She has since been referred to Sally Mugabe Hospital for a comprehensive medical examination to assess any physical and emotional damage caused by the assault.
