Among the affected offices was that of Commissioner Wonder Tembo, the officer commanding Harare province, reported hmetro.
The fire broke out during the early hours of yesterday and raged on for several hours. “The fire was reported to have started around midnight. It affected some CID offices and that of the officer commanding Harare province,” said Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi .

Before the incident, Harare Central Police Station endured a four-day power outage, fueling suspicions of an electrical fault.
