Tinopona Katsande Make Heartfelt Plea For Cancer MachinesOpens Up on Losing Six Friends in Just 14 Days!
Former Studio 263 actress Tinopona Katsande has made a heartbreaking appeal for help fighting cancer.
The popular media personality, who is affectionately known as Tin Tin, emotionally revealed that 6 of her friends have succumbed to cancer in the last two weeks.
The six all died because they could not afford the highly-priced treatment offered by a private hospital in Zimbabwe. The public hospitals, however, do not have a single working radiology machine used in cancer treatment.
Tinopona Katsande made an emotional appeal to people who are famous for flaunting their wealth in the media. She called on them to help fix or even buy radiology machines for treating cancer to support the public health system.

Posting on Facebook, Tinopona Katsande wrote,
“Dear Gold Mafia, Land Barons , Drug Dealers, Rich Cousins, Big boys crew ….. of Zimbabwe.
“Look personally your hustle is just that YOUR HUSTLE, BUT, ndangandichikumbirawo team, 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
“Please tirikukumbirawo mutibatsirewo nekugadzira or buy a new radiology machine that is AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO ALL CITIZENS OF ZIMBABWE, who have cancer and need radiology treatment URGENTLY so that THEY LIVE .
“In the past two weeks I’ve lost 6 friends I had made in cancer support groups because they could NOT afford the $6000 plus the ONLY private facility in Zimbabwe is requiring for radiotherapy treatments.
“Sadly, at the moment, Our government hospitals DONT HAVE WORKING RADIOLOGY MACHINES.
“Please guys. A new machine starts from about $80 000 USD. Less than a new brand new car for some people. Im on my knees, im begging you.”
The multitalented media personality also offered to use her talents to promote the business of the people who respond to the call.

Tinopona was diagnosed with cervical cancer last September.
