Models Go Crazy After Snorting Cocaine At Crowne Plaza Monomotapa Hotel, Walk Naked In Corridors
Two prominent models from Harare, Tumelo Nare and Precious Bango, found themselves in hot water after a wild weekend of excessive drinking and drug use.
While under the influence of cocaine, the duo was caught strolling through the hallways of a five-star hotel in their birthday suits, leading to their arrest on charges of possession of a dangerous drug.
During their court appearance, it was revealed that Nare, Bango, and an unidentified male had booked a room at The Crowne Plaza Monomotapa hotel for a weekend of unrestricted casual sex and cocaine use.
However, as the effects of the cocaine kicked in, the two women’s behaviour became increasingly uninhibited, leading to their arrest.
The delegates attending a meeting at the hotel were disrupted by the duo’s behaviour, leading them to call the police. Upon arrival, the police recovered 0.2 grams of cocaine in their hotel room, which has a street value of $16,000.
Tumelo Nare has been involved in previous controversies. In 2019, she made headlines when she was accused of failing to pay for a sex toy she had obtained on credit from a fellow model. However, Nare denied the allegations and claimed that she had borrowed a charger instead of purchasing a toy from Leerose.
As of writing, it is unclear if Nare and Bango were granted bail, but they appeared before the Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi on Tuesday for bail consideration.
The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of excessive drinking and drug use, and the legal consequences that come with it.
