This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in the country. Last year, two men were arrested on allegations of kidnapping four pupils from Mudzonga Primary School in Mutoko. The children, who were between six and nine years old, were taken to a mountain and stripped naked. Fortunately, one of the girls managed to escape and alert her parents, leading to the rescue of the other children. The perpetrators were later arrested and charged with kidnapping and other related offenses.
