A kombi driver from Glen View brutally attacked and killed his wife in the presence of their two young kids. The assailant, identified as Tawanda Musingi, proceeded to hang Rujeko Masanga’s lifeless body in their bedroom, leaving blood stains behind.

Love Messages Ignite Fatal Assault

The fatal assault occurred following a heated argument between Tawanda and Rujeko over love messages exchanged between Tawanda and another woman. The dispute escalated, leading Tawanda to assault his 25-year-old wife with an unknown object, resulting in her tragic death.

Disturbing Cries Unveil a Shocking Truth

The disturbing cries of the couple’s two minor children, aged 1 and 5, caught the attention of their co-tenants, who immediately became aware that something horrific was unfolding within the household.

One of the tenants encountered Tawanda leaving the room completely naked, claiming that Rujeko had taken her own life by hanging herself. However, suspicions were aroused, leading to Tawanda’s subsequent arrest.

Glen View Community Stunned by Tragic Revelation

Residents in the area expressed shock and disbelief at the tragic turn of events. The couple’s neighbors had witnessed the strain in their relationship and were aware of Rujeko’s struggles to make ends meet through odd jobs while Tawanda continued to support his various lovers.

Police Confirming the Arrest

Confirming the arrest, Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza urged couples facing disputes to seek assistance from the police or engage with trusted elders for conflict resolution.

“Police arrested a Glen View man in connection with a murder case,” confirmed Insp Chakanza. “The accused person was reported to have had a misunderstanding with his wife. The wife’s body was found hanging on a roof truss.”
