Jealous Husband Flogs Wife to Death Over Alleged Affair with Nephew!

Tsholotsho jealous husband flogged his wife to death, using a leather belt and an electric cable, after accusing her of having an affair with his own nephew. The suspect, identified as Ackim Sibanda, has been apprehended by the police and now faces charges of murder.

The Accusation and Fatal Assault

In the small town of Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe, domestic turmoil escalated into a gruesome act of violence on July 21, 2023. Ackim Sibanda, 32, subjected his wife, Similo Moyo, 31, to a barbaric assault at their homestead on Sasedza Line. Sibanda unleashed his rage by mercilessly lashing Moyo with a leather belt and an electric cable. Sadly, the ferocious attack claimed her life, reported Zimlive.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) released an official statement via their Twitter handle, confirming the arrest of Ackim Sibanda for the murder of Similo Moyo. The authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the tragic incident that unfolded in Tsholotsho. The ZRP is determined to bring justice to the grieving family and the community.

Motive: Accusation of Infidelity

According to the police report, the suspect accused his wife of engaging in an extramarital affair with his own nephew. The jealousy and mistrust allegedly drove Sibanda to commit this heinous act of domestic violence. The investigation will delve further into the background and circumstances surrounding the accusations.

Young Teen Fatally Attacked, Culprits Unidentified

In another tragic instance of violence, a 17-year-old minor lost his life in Kwekwe after an unidentified group attacked him. The victim, Sindiso Hlazo, met a brutal end at Torwood Shopping Centre in Redcliff. Police have urgently appealed to the public to provide any information that could assist in their ongoing investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Gruesome Discovery

The local authorities discovered Sindiso Hlazo lying on the ground, bleeding from his ear, at Torwood Shopping Centre. With the culprits still at large, the police are determined to uncover the truth behind this senseless act. Their pleas for witnesses and information aim to ensure that justice is served for Sindiso Hlazo and his grieving family.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police appeals to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or has any information about the incident to come forward immediately.
