Drama As Maid Steals 8-Month-Old Baby On Second Day At Work, Desperate Family Appeals For Help
A Zvishavane family is desperately appealing for help after their 8-month-old baby was stolen by a maid who had been recently employed.
According to reports, the 8-month-old baby was stolen on Monday morning by a maid on her second day at the job.
The young maid has been identified only as Evidence Hove. She was reportedly hired on Easter Sunday. The family who hired young Evidence are unsure of her exact age and estimates that she may be between 15 and 17 years of age.
The family is growing desperate with each passing day and has appealed to people with any information which may lead to the recovery of their baby to come forward.
Respected businessman and social media personality Tinashe Mutarisi took to social media to highlight the family’s plight.
Writing on his official Facebook page, Mutarisi shared pictures of the missing toddler and captioned them,
“MISSING CHILD ALERT
“Mwana mukomana uyu akashaikwa nezuro around 10 am in the morning in Mandava, Zvishavane.
“Akatorwa nemusikana webasa anonzi Evidence Hove who is around 15/16/17 years old. Musikana akatora mwana had just been employed pamba apa semusikana webasa on Easter Sunday.
“Zvirikunzi akasiiwa nevana pamba akabuda nemucheche achiti akumunyaradza and ahana kuzombodzoka from then.
Mwana aripamapictures apo is 8 months old….

Even more worrying, the missing child is recovering from an operation and needs to take pain medications. According to the mother, when she appeared on Tilder Moyo’s show, the 8-month-old boy was operated on his left side to fix a hernia issue. The surgery is just over a week old.
