Zanu PF National Youth Secretary Mambondiani Suspended for Bribery of Tinotenda Machakaire
Danmore Mambondiani, the Zanu PF national youth secretary for administration, has been suspended following accusations of attempting to bribe former Minister of Youth Empowerment, Tinotenda Machakaire, in a bid to secure a prominent position within the ruling party.
Bribery Allegations and Suspension
Mambondiani, who previously held the position of national youth secretary for administration, had set his sights on becoming the secretary for local government. However, his aspirations faced a setback due to allegations of attempting to bribe Tinotenda Machakaire and his deputy, John Paradza. Machakaire currently serves as the secretary for youth affairs. The incident occurred during a national youth executive meeting held on May 9 in Harare.
