This initiative enables them to pursue higher education or conduct research at Slovak institutions. - University students: 650 € per month
- PhD students: 1,025.50 € per month
- University teachers, researchers, artists:
- Without PhD and less than 4 years of experience: 734 € per month
- With PhD and less than 10 years of experience: 980 € per month
- With PhD and more than 10 years of experience: 1,050 € per month
Travel Allowances Based on Distance:
- Up to 200 km: 0 €
- More than 200 km, max. 300 km: 50 €
- More than 300 km, max. 500 km: 100 €
- More than 500 km, max. 1,000 km: 250 €
- More than 1,000 km, max. 2,000 km: 350 €
- More than 2,000 km, max. 3,000 km: 500 €
- More than 3,000 km, max. 5,000 km: 750 €
- More than 5,000 km, max. 7,000 km: 1,100 €
- More than 7,000 km: 1,500 €

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all international students from around the world.
- Must be university students enrolled at universities outside Slovakia.
- Master’s Students: Eligible if they are currently in the second level of higher education (Master’s programs).
- Undergraduate Students: Eligible if they have completed at least 2.5 years of their university studies in the same study program by the application deadline.
- This scholarship does not cover full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree programs.
- Intended for short-term study or research stays, not for full degree completion.
- Applicants must have an invitation or acceptance for a study or research stay at a Slovak higher education institution or research organization.
- A detailed study or research plan must be submitted, outlining the objectives and benefits of the stay in Slovakia.
- University teachers, researchers, and artists without a PhD must have less than 4 years of professional experience.
- Those with a PhD must fit into one of two categories: less than 10 years or more than 10 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in the language of instruction or research (typically Slovak or English) is required.
- Must meet specific requirements set by the Slovak institution or organization.
- Previous scholarship holders must show significant academic or professional progress to be considered again.
