Shocking Horror in Bulawayo: Woman Accused of Killing Stepdaughter on the Run!

Police in Bulawayo have launched a manhunt for Priscilla Muchape, a 33-year-old woman accused of killing her stepdaughter in May. According to Inspector Abednico Ncube, the incident occurred when Muchape woke her two stepdaughters up to go to the toilet.

“Circumstances are that on the 26th of May 2023 the now deceased and her elder sister an 8-year-old were awakened by their step mother Pricilla Muchape during the night to go to the toilet.”, stated Inspector.

Assault and Injuries

The deceased refused to wake up, which angered Muchape, who then assaulted her with open hands, kicked her stomach, and pushed her against the wall. The girl screamed once before collapsing, sustaining head injuries that led to her death.

“The now deceased collapsed after screaming once. She sustained head injuries which led to her death. The body of the now deceased had multiply injuries, a fresh cut on the left ear, legs, feet and a swollen head,” said Inspector Ncube.

Investigations revealed that the now deceased had suffered abuse at the hands of her stepmother, leading to the injuries, as per report by chronicles.

Manhunt and Appeal for Information

The accused person disappeared soon after committing the offence, and her whereabouts are currently unknown. Police are appealing for information that may assist in the location of Priscilla Muchape.

“Anyone with information of her whereabouts should report to their nearest police station or contact the investigating officer assistant inspector Gundu on cell phone number 0773 265 151 or ZRP Khumalo on 02922- 74491,” said Inspector Ncube.

Conclusion

Police are appealing to anyone with information on Muchape’s whereabouts to come forward.
