Prophet Makandiwa boldly declared that all prophets and sangomas claiming to hear from God are fake. This shocking announcement electrified the congregation and sparked a heated debate among local spiritual leaders.

In a provocative move, Makandiwa staked a US$1 million bet, challenging anyone who could accurately predict what would be in his pocket this Sunday. His daring wager prompted swift reactions from the prophetic community. Many saw this as an opportunity to challenge Makandiwa’s authority.

Java Issues Daring Counter-Challenge
American-based Prophet Passion Java quickly responded. He issued a counter-challenge, stating he would bring a crippled man in a wheelchair to Makandiwa’s church. If Makandiwa could heal the man, he would hand over US$1 million.
Java taunted him, saying, “On Sunday Va Makandiwa ndikuuya nechirema chikafamba ndokupai 10 million USD.”

Chivayo Critiques Makandiwa’s Bet
Businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo, also weighed in on the controversy. He mentioned the Masowe church he attends, noting its abundance of gifted prophets. However, he stressed that the prophets from his church would not engage in Makandiwa’s bet. Chivayo argued that doing so would reduce their God to an unacceptable level.
Shadaya Warns Against Mocking Faith
Alpha male Shadaya added his thoughts, cautioning against making a mockery of faith.
