Shadaya Fires Back at Selmor Mtukudzi Amid Daisy Drama
Alpha male Shadaya has responded with fury after Selmor Mtukudzi publicly criticized him for siding with her stepmother, Daisy.
The Complex Family History of Tuku
Since Mtukudzi’s passing, discussions about his will and estate have ignited heated debates among family members. Mtukudzi first married Melody Murape, with whom he had a daughter, Sandra. Later, he married Daisy, who already had a child, Faith.

The Shocking Turn of Events
Afterward, Mtukudzi returned to his first wife, Melody, and had Selmor. This complicated family dynamic has fueled the current controversy, dragging Mtukudzi’s name through the mud. Following his divorce from Melody, he moved back in with Daisy, taking Selmor with him to Kwekwe.

While residing in Kwekwe, Daisy and Tuku began building a house in Norton. However, they never informed Selmor about this significant development. She learned of their plans only when Daisy hosted a farewell party. Subsequently, Tuku and Daisy left Kwekwe, taking all their belongings and leaving Selmor with nothing.
Inheritance Drama Unfolds
After Tuku’s death, his lawyer summoned the family to discuss the inheritance. The lawyer revealed that Mtukudzi had no will but was in the process of creating a trust fund. The family decided the trust should go to Oliver’s mother.
Weeks later, they were summoned to court regarding the will. Reports claim that the will stated everything belonged to Daisy, igniting the current turmoil. Selmor was barred from performing at Pakare Paye, the arts theater built by her father, for seven years. She regained access only after a public plea.
Recently, Sandra and Selmor discussed this history on the DJ Ollah podcast. In a pre-release snippet, Selmor highlighted Daisy’s alleged misdeeds, prompting Shadaya’s now-deleted tweet. He labeled Selmor a “bitter child” for resenting her stepmother.
A Heated Exchange
During the podcast, Selmor responded to Shadaya’s remarks, stating he is a young boy without the experience to comment on marital issues. Shadaya countered, insisting he will not stop commenting on public matters.
“People come with their private life on public social media platforms and expect everyone to give opinions they only agree with?” Shadaya stated. “At her old age she should know nothing good ever comes from airing out dirty linen about your family on social media.”
