Rusape Father Arrested for Molesting His 8-Year-Old Daughter

A 30-year-old father from Rusape has been arrested and convicted for molesting his 8-year-old daughter.

The Heinous Act

The incident occurred sometime between January and April, when the father called his daughter into his bedroom while she was watching television. He then ordered her to lie on the bed. He then took off his clothes before molesting her.

The Daughter’s Harrowing Ordeal

The heinous act took place in the absence of the girl’s mother, who was away for work. However, the incident came to light when the daughter went to her grandmother’s home in Honde Valley for the holidays. The day she was supposed to return, she rejected going back home. Upon being interrogated by her grandmother, she revealed how she was molested.

Justice Served

The grandmother wasted no time in filing a police report, leading to the father’s swift arrest. He appeared before the Rusape Magistrate’s Courts, facing rape charges.

“A 30-year-old man convicted and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment by a Rusape magistrate on rape charges. He raped his 8-year-old daughter,” read the NPAZ press statement.

A Filabusi man has been convicted and sentenced to a staggering 16 years in prison for molesting an elderly, blind woman in her own home. The elderly woman, who lives alone, had retired to bed for the night when she heard the ominous sound of her door creaking open. She asked who was there, but got no answer. She was then horrified as the man simply jumped onto her bed and squeezed her neck before molesting her.
