Penhalonga Landlord’s Son Jailed for Molesting Tenant’s Sister

A 24-year-old man from Penhalonga, landlord’s son, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for molesting tenant’s sister.

A Calculated Act of Violence

The incident took place on May 28th, 2024, around 6 PM, while the tenant was away at work. Knowing that the tenant’s sister was alone, the landlord’s son entered her bedroom while she was sleeping. He locked the door, trapping her inside. He then woke her up and asked her to accompany him to the tuckshop to buy airtime. The girl, realizing the door was locked, attempted to open it, but the son grabbed her hand and threw her onto the bed.

A Fight for Survival

A struggle ensued, with the girl falling to the ground. The son, in a chilling display of brutality, stuffed a piece of cloth into her mouth to silence her screams. He then proceeded to molest her repeatedly before threatening her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone.

Justice Prevails

Gweru Demented Criminal Arrested for Molesting Chinhoi Farm Worker

The tenant, upon returning home on June 2nd, 2024, was informed of the horrific ordeal. They immediately filed a police report, leading to the arrest of the landlord’s son.

A Sentence of Retribution

The Mutare Magistrates Court found the perpetrator guilty of rape and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

“A 24-year-old man from Penhalonga appeared before the Mutare Magistrates Court on rape charges. The accused person was convicted and sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment,” read the NPAZ press statement.
