Minister Daniel Garwe Threatens Blessed “Bombshell” Geza After Protest Disaster
The ZANU-PF factional fight intensifies as Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Daniel Garwe, threatens Blessed “Bombshell” Geza after his protest fiasco.
The Roots of the Feud
This feud between the two stems from Geza’s numerous interviews broadcast on YouTube by Heart & Soul TV. In these interviews, Geza criticized President E.D. Mnangagwa’s ambition to rule beyond his term limit to 2030.

Garwe Defends the President
Garwe quickly responded to Geza’s claims by defending the president, stating that it is not his wish to rule the party until 2030, but the party’s wish. He emphasized that the party resolved this during its last national congress. Despite this, tensions did not ease. Geza organized a mass protest against the president that was scheduled for March 31, 2025.
Protest Plans Go Awry
However, the planned demonstration did not unfold as expected. Instead of joining Geza, the masses opted for a stay-away protest. By the end of March 31, Geza announced the protest was temporarily suspended. He claimed to have gathered information about the president’s son, allegedly planning violent retaliation against protest organizers.

Upcoming Address Raises Stakes
Geza stated he would address the nation on April 2, 2025, to outline the way forward. Earlier, he confirmed his address would take place at 8 PM. Meanwhile, Minister Garwe ramped up his rhetoric during a public speech. He warned that he is not going to tolerate anyone belittling the president or his government.

Unmasking the Culprit
Garwe further accused Geza of being the main instigator in the ongoing factional fight within ZANU-PF. He suggested that someone else is using Geza to further their agenda. “Geza haasiriye musoro wenyaya. Musoro wenyaya muridzi waGeza,” stated Minister.
