Manica Diamonds Set to Hijack Dynamos’ Khama Billiat Signing Plans

Manica Diamonds are set to hijack Dynamos plans of signing former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns forward, Khama Billiat.

The rival club is offering Billiat a deal three times more lucrative than what Dynamos had put on the table.

Billiat’s Move to Dynamos

Khama Billiat

Following his unsuccessful attempts to secure a deal in South Africa, Billiat had agreed in principle to join Dynamos. Since his departure from Kaizer Chiefs in May of last year, the talented forward has been without a club. According to iHarare, Billiat is scheduled to arrive in the country on Thursday to finalize the deal that would make him the highest-paid player in the local league.

Manica Diamonds’ Tempting Offer

However, Manica Diamonds has thrown a spanner in the works by presenting a more enticing offer to the Zimbabwean star. As local fans eagerly await Billiat’s decision, it remains to be seen which offer he will ultimately choose.

Dynamos’ Recent Setbacks

Kuda Mahachi

Dynamos, in their pursuit of strengthening their squad, recently faced disappointment when they failed to secure a deal with Obriel Chirinda, another sought-after talent who opted to join Ngezi Platinum instead. Nevertheless, the team has not lost hope as they aim to secure the services of Kuda Mahachi. The former Medeama SC player, released by Ghanaian champions, is expected in Harare this week to finalize his agreement with Dynamos.

Should all negotiations proceed as planned, both Billiat and Mahachi could make their debuts for Dynamos in the upcoming Castle Challenge Cup match against Ngezi Platinum Stars next weekend.
