Man Who Paid US$18 000 Lobola Dumped After Two Weeks

In a tale of love, loss, and uncertainty, a Harare man Blessing Togarasei is seeking any information that can lead him to his missing wife, Natasha Chamisa, and their child.

Blessing recalls the happy day when he married Natasha after paying US$18,000 lobola. However, things took an unexpected turn soon after their honeymoon. Natasha, who was already pregnant, left their home without giving any reason, leaving Blessing bewildered and alone.

Despite the challenges, Blessing attempted to reconcile with his wife after their child’s birth in 2021. However, their efforts proved futile, and Blessing has not seen or heard from Natasha since.

Social Media Assistance

In his search for answers, Blessing has been reaching out on social media, asking anyone with information on Natasha and their child’s whereabouts to contact him. Despite the difficulties, Blessing still loves his wife and wants to find her and his child.

“I am looking for her, and I will sue anyone who is staying with my wife for US$1 million,” he said. “Her relatives say they do not know where she is. The child is not well and needs treatment at the hospital.”

Despite the challenges, Blessing has been resolute in his pursuit of answers. He is determined to get his sick child the treatment he needs, and to find his wife and reconcile with her.

How They Met

During the Covid-19 lockdown, a pastor had approached Blessing, telling him that Natasha had been chosen for him by God. Blessing took the pastor’s advice and married her. However, things quickly turned sour when Natasha discovered that Blessing was still building their home, rather than having it fully furnished.

“She would provoke me, hoping that I would retaliate by assaulting her, but I did not,” Blessing said. “I then invited her aunt over, and Natasha told her that I am a liar and she didn’t see any future in me.”

It was during this conversation that Natasha packed her bags and left. Blessing supported her during her pregnancy, paid for all the bills, and brought her back home after discussing the matter with her relatives. However, things did not improve, and Natasha eventually left him once again, this time for good.
