Honde Valley Herdman Convicted of Molesting his Boss’s Form 2 Daughter

A Honde Valley herdman has been arrested and convicted for molesting his boss’s Form 2 daughter in her bedroom.

Opportunistic Assault

The incident occurred on February 28th, 2024, when the teenage girl’s parents had left her and her younger siblings at home. After finishing her dinner, the girl went to take a bath. It was then that the herdsman allegedly saw the girl coming from the bathroom and followed her to her bedroom.

Brazen Attack and Assault

As the girl was singing and preparing to take a nap, her bedroom light was suddenly switched off. When she tried to switch it on, the herdman held her hand and pushed her towards the bed. When she tried to scream, he covered her mouth and nose before molesting her.

Narrow Escape of the Herdsman

Fortunately, the girl’s parents arrived home just as the herdman was about to leave the room. The mother spotted him through the window, prompting the father to rush and try to catch him. However, the herdman managed to escape into the darkness.

Harsh Sentence

The distraught parents immediately filed a police report, leading to the arrest and conviction of the accused.

“A 25-year-old man from Honde Valley was convicted and sentenced by a Mutare magistrate on charges of rape. The accused person was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment,” read the NPAZ press statement.

The magistrate’s decision to impose a 15-year prison sentence on the herdman sends a strong message that such abhorrent acts of sexual violence against minors will not be tolerated.
