Highlanders FC Fans ‘Bosso Babes’ Stab Each Other in Intense Fight Over Married Man.
A violent altercation erupted at the Highlanders FC drinking spot after two Bosso fans, known as the ‘Bosso Babes,’ stabbed each other over a married man, resulting in both women requiring medical attention.
The Disturbing Encounter & The Boyfriend Factor
According to one witness, the boyfriend had been buying drinks for both Vivian Ngwenya and Tholakele Dube, while they were seated at separate tables. It was when Ngwenya went to the restroom that Dube followed, and a confrontation ensued.

The situation escalated rapidly, resulting in a physical fight where the women resorted to using beer bottles as weapons. The clubhouse manager intervened and managed to separate them before the situation worsened.
“The boyfriend was buying beer for both Vivian and Tholakele while they were seated at different tables,” stated one witness. “Vivian went to the toilet and Tholakele followed her and they must have confronted each other there and started fighting. Another lady went to the toilet and came back screaming people are killing each other in the toilet). The clubhouse manager rushed to the toilet and separated the two after they had stabbed each other with beer bottles.”

Legal Consequences
Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abdenico Ncube confirmed the harrowing incident and provided further details.

“The accused persons had a misunderstanding over a boyfriend, stated Inspector. “They followed each other to the toilet and they started fighting using beer bottles. Ncube added that the clubhouse manager promptly called for an ambulance, which transported the injured women to Mpilo Hospital for treatment and subsequent discharge.”
Following the incident, Ngwenya reported the matter to the police, leading to the arrest of Dube. Both women admitted to the offense and were charged with disorderly conduct in a public place. They paid a fine accordingly
