EFF Leader Malema Concedes Defeat in Shock South Africa Election Upset
EFF president Julius Malema has already conceded defeat, releasing a video as votes are still being counted in the ongoing South Africa election.
Malema Accepts People’s Will
With the ANC leading and the DA following, Malema’s EFF and former president Jacob Zuma are fighting for the last position.
“We will accept the willingness of the voice of the people of South Africa whatever the outcome,” stated Malema.
He went further to cite that they won’t dispute the final results if they lose, as they appreciate the political environment that allowed them to campaign freely
“We campaigned, and no one stopped us. We spoke to our people, and no one stopped us. So if the people did not receive the message, it means we still need more time to work on convincing our people with regard to voting,” stated Malema.

ANC Faces Loss of Parliamentary Majority
Though the ANC is winning, the margin they are leading with suggests they are about to lose the parliamentary majority they have held for 30 years. This means the ANC will be forced to make a deal with one or more other parties to govern.

Zuma Emerges as the New Kingmaker
With the current statistics, Zuma is obtaining 8%, Malema 8.5%, DA 25.8%, and the ANC holding 42.5% (projected to end at around 45%). This means that Zuma will become the new South Africa kingmaker by denying his former party the majority rule in parliament.
“Everything is coming to pass as Zuma is getting what he wants, the KwaZulu-Natal province,” stated a political analyst Chin’ono. “Zuma’s MK party is leading in the province with 43.30%, consigning the ANC to second place with 20.69% followed by Inkatha with 18.67%.”
