Dangamvura Underage Perpetrator Arrested for Molesting 2-Year-Old Toddler

An underage perpetrator aged 15 from Dangamvura has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 2-year-old neighbor’s toddler.

The Fateful Visit

On June 6th of this year, the mother of the 2-year-old girl took her daughter with her to their neighbor’s house to charge her phone. The young girl went to the backyard to play while the mother was chatting with the boy’s mother. When the young boy noticed that his mother and the girl’s mother were chatting, he went to the backyard, pretending like he wanted to play with the girl.

The Horrific Discovery

The boy then allegedly molested the girl in the backyard. When the girl’s mother was done chatting with her neighbor, she went to the backyard to look for her daughter. Upon arriving, she noticed the young boy wiping semen from the girl’s buttocks, and his clothes were also spoiled with semen. The girl’s mother then carried her daughter and went to report the case to the nearest police station, leading to the boy’s arrest.

The Disturbing Verdict

The boy appeared before Mutare Magistrate Courts, facing attempted rape charges. He was convicted and sentenced to 5 years in jail, which were wholly suspended for 5 years.

“The accused person was convicted and sentenced to 5 years which were wholly suspended for 5 years,” read the NPAZ press statement.

Another Concerning Theft Incident

In another disturbing news, Fidelis Jorum Mauyangwe appeared before Chiredzi Magistrate Courts, facing theft charges. Mauyangwe allegedly went to the complainant’s house and stole a Nissan Vannette which was parked in his garage.
