Chitungwiza Karate and Boy Scout Trainer Arrested for Sodomizing Teenagers During Camping Trips
A karate and Boy Scout trainer from Chitungwiza has been arrested for sodomizing teenagers for nearly two years during camping trips.
Trainer Poses as Scout Leader
The 35-year-old man claimed to be a Boy Scout leader while also training the boys in karate. Reports indicate that the indecent acts began in January 2022.
Brave Teen’s Revelation Uncovers Abuse
The ordeal came to light when one brave teen shared his experience with his parents after returning from a camp. The teen disclosed that the trainer would first instruct them to wash themselves. He would then showed them pornographic material on his laptop before committing the acts.

Parents Unite to Uncover the Disturbing Truth Behind Coach’s Actions
Upon hearing this alarming revelation, the teen’s parents took action. They alerted other parents through a WhatsApp group to seek clarity on the situation. Other parents, upon questioning their children, realized the shocking truth, the coach had been molesting the teens.

Police Action Leads to Arrest
With mounting evidence, they filed a police report, leading to the trainer’s arrest. He appeared before the Chitungwiza Regional Magistrates’ Court, facing multiple charges of indecent assault. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 28 years in jail.
Court Sentences Boy Scout Trainer
“A 35-year-old man who is a Boy Scout trainer was brought before the Chitungwiza Regional Magistrates’ Court facing indecent assault and six counts of contravening the Data Protection Act. He was sentenced to a total of 28 years imprisonment effectively,” read the NPAZ press statement.
