Bail Granted with Reporting Conditions

Magistrate Manuwere, after reviewing the case, found no compelling reasons to deny Munyaka bail. As a result, she was ordered to report at the CID Harare every Friday. Pending the finalization of investigations, Munyaka is set to appear in court again on July 23.

Arrest and Seizure of Drugs

Munyaka’s arrest took place over the weekend following information received by the police alleging her involvement in drug dealing within the capital city. Acting on the tip-off, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department conducted surveillance at Alban Court, an apartment complex at the corner of Joseph Culverwell (formerly Blakiston) Street and Leonid Brezhnev (formerly Fife) Avenue.
