Jilted Man Kidnaps And Forces His Ex’s New Lover To Drink His Urine
In a shocking incident that has rocked the Njube suburb in Bulawayo, a man has been sentenced to one year in jail after kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and her new lover and subjecting them to a brutal assault. Munyaradzi Shara, aged 28, was found guilty of kidnapping and assault charges by the Bulawayo regional magistrate Vivian Ndlovu.
According to reports, the incident took place on November 25, 2022, at around 6 pm, when Shara encountered his ex-girlfriend, Sophia Ncube (21), with her new boyfriend, Ntandoyenkosi Mbambo (27), and his friend, Talent Sibanda (21), in the city centre. Shara demanded Mbambo’s cell phone and then ordered the trio to accompany him to his workplace at Herentals College, where he worked as a security guard.
B-metro reports that, upon arriving at the college, Shara assaulted Sibanda with open hands and kicked him several times all over the body. He then took Ncube and Mbambo into one of the classrooms, where he viciously attacked Ncube with a broomstick, chair, and slaps all over the body. Shara then kicked Mbambo on the face before forcing him to drink his urine.
After detaining the couple in the classroom for five hours, Shara finally released them. The two immediately reported the incident to the police, which led to Shara’s arrest. As a result of the assault, Ncube suffered multiple bruises on her left thigh, and a medical report was produced in court as evidence.
Shara was sentenced to two years in jail, with one year of his sentence suspended for three years on condition of good behaviour. The incident has shocked the community, and many are calling for stricter laws to be put in place to prevent such incidents from happening again.
