Harare Monster Father Sentenced for Molesting His Own 18-Year-Old Daughter
A 37-year-old father from Harare has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for molesting his own 18-year-old daughter.
Father Demanding Sex From Daughter
The court heard that on March 2nd of this year, the father called his 18-year-old daughter and informed her that he was coming to collect her from Epworth, where she was staying with her sister. Later that day, he picked her up, and near Athlone Park, he started fondling his daughter’s breasts. He then asked his daughter to have sexual intercourse with him.

Daughter’s Refusal to Engage in Incest
The daughter refused, reminding him that she couldn’t sleep with him as he was her biological father. The father then used force, tripping the daughter to the ground. He then tore her trousers and underwear before molesting her and leaving her.

Daughter Escapes and Reports the Assault
The girl then managed to go back home, where she was staying with her sister, and narrated to her what had happened. They then made a police report, which led to the arrest of the father.

Father Convicted and Sentenced to 20 Years
During the court proceedings, the father pleaded not guilty to the charge. However, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to 20 years in jail. “The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was found guilty and was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment,” read the statement from the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe.
