Flashy Madzibaba Who Showed Up For Masowe In Helicopter Spoils 15-Year-Old Son With Top-of-The-Line Toyota GD6
In a stunning display of extravagance, a Chitungwiza prophet, Madzibaba Owen Chingondi, recently gifted his 15-year-old son, Prince Chingondi Mpofu, with a brand new Toyota GD6. The flashy gift was presented at the Johanne Masowe yeChishanu Velvet shrine, where the prophet presides.
This is not the first time that Madzibaba Owen Chingondi has made history for his ostentatious displays of wealth. In November, Madzibaba Owen caused quite a stir after he arrived for a church service using a helicopter. The flashy madzibaba used the helicopter to attend the Sunday Masowe church service in Chitungwiza.
Motivation and Confidence
Madzibaba Chingondi explained that the vehicle was meant to motivate and build confidence in his son. He told H-Metro, “God gave us grace to have children and in them we invest whatever we toil for…This GD6 is for building confidence in him since most of our children are stigmatized for wearing white robes and praying barefooted.”

The prophet also noted that the gift held spiritual significance, “Tinodzikisirwa asi Mwari anotikudza nekutipa makomborero munyika yevatema kuti adzikisire zvinokudzwa nenyika. Mwari wakatsaura zvinhu zvinozvidzwa zvenyika, nezvinoshovorwa, nezvinhu zvisipo, kuti ashaise zviripo simba razvo.” He explained that God rewards those who invest in their children, and he hoped that the gift would be a source of motivation for his son to excel.
Despite the prophet’s intentions, the lavish gift has left some members of the congregation shocked. One member who wished to remain anonymous said, “It is very shocking and it’s the first time for me to see such a thing, especially coming from a person who claims to be a prophet. We don’t even have such things, yet he is giving his son a top-of-the-range vehicle as a birthday gift.”
While the gift may be controversial, Madzibaba Chingondi seems to have the best intentions for his son. He stated, “I do not have much but with this little, I want to believe that it will motivate my son. He loves to pray every day, and my wish is to see him doing better than me.” Only time will tell if the flashy gift will motivate Prince Chingondi Mpofu to achieve his full potential.
