Controversy Surrounds Sandra Ndebele’s Political Ambitions

The announcement that renowned dancer and musician Sandra Ndebele will be running in the upcoming Zanu-PF primary elections has caused quite a stir on social media. Ndebele is vying to become the aspiring ruling party councillor for Ward 20 Pelandaba Tshabalala (Bulawayo) in the upcoming harmonized general elections.

Although she has previously served as a women’s league leader in Bulawayo and as a representative for young women in economic development, her decision to join Zanu-PF and run for office has caught many by surprise. While some have supported her, others have criticized her and expressed doubts about her ability to hold political office.
